HOW TO …
- watch the live broadcast on 22nd October 2009 from the United Nations HQ in New York
- use a range of START FREEDOM resources packed with creative activities that help us learn about the issue of trafficking. These will be translated into Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish
- tell our communities what trafficking is, how it can affect them and what they can do to stay safe and help others. We will create our own community presentations. It may be street theatre, or a film festival. It could be a dance tour or an art exhibition. It could be a book published or a community photographic project. You will know what you can do in your street, in your town, in your country.
- take part in START FREEDOM week, March 2010. It will be the greatest freedom show on earth where we communicate with one another about what we did in our communities and how we did it, via the Start Freedom website (coming soon). From photos to theatre, dance to sculpture, puppets to plays … we can see it all during March 2010.
In Freedom Week the classroom will be bigger than you have ever seen. Boston can have class mates from Bangladesh and Sierra Leone can have classmates from Sri Lanka.
New friends to START FREEDOM and STOP THE TRAFFIK.
